(More customer reviews)Nice, heavy vinyl umbrella.After searching in vain for a vinyl umbrella with wind vents, I actually corresponded with a manufacturer who told me there is no such thing due to the way vinyl lays down...he said if they added wind vents "it just doesn't look good."So I liked the price of this umbrella and thought I'd take a chance even though there was virtually no information provided.One thing I wish I would have known is that this is a manual lift umbrella, as in, there is NO pulley and NO crank.Just imagine a manual rain umbrella that you push up, and that's what this is.I am too short and it is too heavy for me to put up myself.I was able to very easily install the umbrella in my patio table in a matter of seconds (you provide your own umbrella base), but I could not for the life of me get the canopy lifted and had to wait for my husband to come home to do it.That means if I need the canopy raised or lowered I am relying on him to be available to do it for me.

Umbrella does have a tilt feature which I am able to do myself.It doesn't come with any instructions but it was easy to figure out.There is a button which unlocks the tilt feature, then simply push to tilt and pull back up to lock again.

I plan to use the umbrella year round which is why I wanted vinyl.Nice metal pole hopefully means it won't snap off when it's windy like a wooden pole does.
