I bought my first Alfille Butter Wizard just over a year ago. I loved it! When it died after only a few months, I figured it was juat a fluke and I bought another one. That one just quit working. Until they improve the relability, I cannot recommend the Alfille Butter Wizard.

UPDATE:
I have a love-hate relationship with the Butter Wizard. I'm currently on my 4th one! That tells you I like it. But it also tells you they don't last. If this thing didn't burn out every 6 months, I'd give it 6 stars (if I could)! The Butter Wizard is the only thing I've ever tried for butter that really works. I've tried all the various crocks and butter keepers. They are a nuisance. This little wonder gives me great butter every day, until it dies. Argh! It always dies! I'm afraid the company will go out of business because of that. But it'll save me $100 bucks a year for the pleasure of perfect butter. Like I said, it's a love-hate relationship.
