Everything else was either too flimsy in construction, too heavy, or folded in half making it difficult to store and maneuver. This table is well engineered. It is lightweight yet sturdy. It folds into 4 hinged sections making it easy to handle and store. The clever hinges allow it to be even set up as a half length table with one half as a dropped leaf, which is ideal for the 2 of us most times. The top surface is smooth and firm and fully edged in aluminum. It is more costly than other tables of similar size, but you get what you pay for!
