The die-casting used to make the parts for this item should have been re-tooled for greater detail. Instead, it appears (when assembled) as something your child could make in 'metal shop'. Still, the coat tree functions as is and appears sturdy enough to hold many coats. I've rated the product at 3 but as far as delivery? Where's a 0 rating when you need one?

I usually avoid companies who use FedEx, and I should have avoided this one as well. I've had many problems with FedEx home deliveries (drivers throwing packages on to my front porch and damaging them) and this was no exception. If you can find a similar item elsewhere and get it delivered UPS or DHL, go for it.

FYI, this item ships completely unassembled (you might want assistance putting this thing together) and will likely arrive damaged due to supbar packaging (the box looked as if it had been thrown down a flight of steps) and FedEx's bottom-of-the-barrel delivery service.

I've made many, many satisfactory purchases here at Amazon.com but this has been the single worst experience I've had to date. BUYER BEWARE.
