(More customer reviews)I had a Marimekko umbrella for several years until one day when I set it down open on the porch while I went into the house for a minute.When I came back, one of the ribs had broken.I bought another umbrella just like it--same color and pattern--vowing never to set it down on edge (as shown in the pictures) and I have had the new one just a few months now.It would be very difficult for me to get used to a regular umbrella again.I am SOooo spoiled by the opening mechanism.I feel as though people are envying me every time I open it--although I realize this is only in my own mind--but I enjoy the feeling anyway.A few years a go I bought one for my granddaughter too, so this is my third Marimekko umbrella.Rita
