(More customer reviews)For the price, this patio umbrella is great.The pole was very long so we cut off about 12 inches. The top pole screws into the bottom section of the pole.Since this is a very large umbrella, it does tilt slightly at this connection point. I purchased red and am happy with my selection.Since I haven't had good luck with previous umbrellas I always put the umbrella down when done sitting there so I don't know if it 'takes off' or not with wind.All in all...for the price - I would buy it again!
